Default Think or swim opening an ira

im looking to open a ira at thinkorswim im still a young adult and dont really care about getting money back on taxes now but would like my gains to be tax free am i better going with a roth ira or a regular ira?

also is there any fees here besides commissions for trading? im gonna open the account small and make contributions weekly. let me know your thoughts

Roth and tax deferred IRAs come out the same in the long run.

I prefer the tax deferred route as there are no taxes until distributions are taken.
